We believe that entrepreneurship can change lives, help reduce unemployment rate and contribute to the elimination of different forms of social ills including youth restiveness, rape, and gender-based violence. When people have ownership in an area, they also have pride. That pride manifests itself in the way that the individuals become involved in their neighborhoods; no longer feeling like spectators watching life happen from the “cheap seats” – but instead taking the field, making plays as productive members of the society.
Rationale
Entrepreneurship can be lonely, difficult, and financially draining. Throughout the ENTREThrive programme, we will provide check-ins to make sure you’re still about this life. If you aren’t, there’s no shame in it! There will be off-ramps throughout the course allowing you to exit and plan for the future.
What We do
Our entrepreneurship programs, tailored for both existing and aspiring entrepreneurs (social or for-profit), span 4 to 10 weeks, depending on the specific curriculum. We equip participants with the skills to develop comprehensive business plans and master the nuances of business management. The goal is to foster the launch of successful enterprises that create jobs and stimulate local economic activity.
Our support extends far beyond the program’s duration. ENTRETribe alumni gain access to a valuable network, including new customer opportunities, additional funding sources, and mentorship from seasoned business leaders. This continued guidance and resources ensure participants’ entrepreneurial growth and success long after completing the program.

How to Apply.
All sections of the application must be completed. If you are unsure about an answer, provide your best estimate. The form does not have a save function, so it is recommended to complete it in one sitting without leaving the page. Alternatively, you can type your responses in a separate document and then copy and paste the text into the form to avoid losing your work.
Applications will be reviewed, and ideas deemed most likely to succeed will be selected. Our goal is for students to apply the lessons learned during the entrepreneurship course to launch businesses in their local communities, strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem. If chosen for the course, attendance at each class session is mandatory.
