PROGRAMMES

Advancing Skills, Livelihoods and Civic Participation.

We develop programmes that respond to practical needs and expand opportunities for individuals and communities.

Our work focuses on four established areas of social development. The programmes featured here show how we translate these priorities into practical initiatives, alongside selected examples of work delivered in the past.

Our Areas of Work

Our programmes contribute to four areas that guide our work.

Skills Development and Digital Innovation

Building practical capabilities and applying digital tools to create opportunities for learning, employment and innovation.

Entrepreneurship and Economic Opportunity

Supporting enterprise development and pathways to stronger livelihoods.

Social Inclusion and Women's Advancement

Addressing barriers to participation and expanding opportunities for women and underserved groups.

Civic Participation and Social Development

Supporting people to contribute to public decisions and issues that affect their communities.

Programmes in Focus.

Our developing programmes address two practical challenges: helping small businesses make better use of technology and strengthening people's participation in public decision-making.

ThriveLab

AI for Everyday Microenterprises

ThriveLab: AI for Everyday Microenterprises is designed to help women-led microenterprises use simple, affordable artificial intelligence (AI) tools to run their businesses more efficiently and reach more customers.

The programme focuses on practical, everyday uses: organising business records, improving customer communication, building product catalogues and increasing visibility. It also gives young people hands-on experience supporting these businesses to choose and adopt the right tools.

CIVIC OR (Civic Operating Room)

A Say in

What Happens

CIVIC OR is designed to give communities a practical way to examine public issues, build evidence-based recommendations and take them directly to the decision-makers responsible.

The programme supports communities through the full process: presenting their recommendations, following up on how institutions respond and keeping the conversation going. The aim is to build informed participation and a clearer link between community concerns and public decisions.

ACTIVITIES

Selected Previous Initiatives.

Our previous initiatives reflect our experience in digital skills development, entrepreneurship and economic opportunity and social inclusion and women's empowerment. Visit our Impact & Media Hub to explore available programme reports, photographs, historical records and other documentation of our work.

Entrethrive 1.0 and 2.0

A ten-week programme delivered across two cohorts in 2024 and 2025, supporting  60 young unemployed/underemployed graduates to develop technology-enabled social enterprise ideas.

20 participants received additional support to formalise their businesses. We covered the cost of their registration as limited liability companies, plus a website domain and one year of hosting.

ThriveLab Accelerator Bootcamps

One-day high-impact bootcamps in Oyo State and Abuja for unemployed graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals.

Participants gained practical skills, tools and connections to find work or start a business, with mentors on hand to guide them.

Tech4Employment

Through Tech4Employment, Thrivebridge delivered two cohorts of WordPress Bootcamp and two cohorts of Software Development Bootcamp. These initiatives provided practical digital skills training to help participants build technical capabilities and strengthen their readiness to pursue employment opportunities. Beneficiaries have gone on to start their own practices.
